Greenvolt gets €35m solar PF
KKR-backed renewables developer Greenvolt has secured a €35m project finance facility through Millennium Bcp to develop more than 120 solar projects totalling 30MW.
The transaction combines the refinancing of a portfolio of operational projects alongside additional funding for self-consumption units. Both are said to benefit from long-term PPAs.
The deal is the first of its kind in Portugal, while the expansion of self-consumption was an area that required acceleration to meet 2030 targets, Greenvolt said.
