wpd starts 97.6MW Kuji wind EIA
Germany’s wpd, through its Japanese affiliate Kuji-Yamagata Furyoku Hatsuden, has started the environment impact assessment for its 97.6MW onshore wind project in Kuji, Iwate prefecture.
The company plans to install 10 to 36 turbines with 4.2MW–6.1MW capacity across 184 hectares. Construction is targeted to commence in 2031 and commercial operation in 2034.
