Scatec closes CfD solar PF
Scatec has closed €84.7m project financing via the EIB, EBRD and Banca Comerciala Romana backing development of its €121m 190MW Dobrun & Sadova solar portfolio in Romania, which is 70% covered by 15-year contract-for-difference revenue support.
Scatec owns 65% of the equity in the projects while EPC contractor Defic Globe owns the remaining 35%. The portfolio represents Scatec’s first projects in Romania and is in Dolj and Olt counties in southern Romania, including the 61.9MW Sadova plant in Dolj and the two Dobrun schemes in Olt totalling 127.8MW.
