Habitat eyes mega Georgia DC

New York-based venture capital firm Habitat Partners is developing the US$5.2bn Project Ruby data centre in Muscogee County, Georgia, and has requested up to 600MW of grid connectivity.

The project will be built on 987 acres and feature four buildings, with the first 200MW coming online in 2029 before full operation by 2034. Habitat has requested grid connection from Flint Energies. Construction is expected to begin in 2027.
